Glenorchy Lodge Hotel has an extensive range of dining opportunities, ranging from a light bar snack, to a relaxing leisurely dinner in our lovely restaurant, creating a superb ambience in which to enjoy our wonderful Scottish cuisine. We offer a mouth watering selection of dishes, cooked and presented in a contemporary style but with the flavours characteristic of Scotland’s Natural Larder always to the fore and shining through.

Dining in Glenorchy Hotel is a very relaxing and special experience, but surprisingly easy on the pocket as the aim of the chef is to provide exceptional value for money, without compromising on quality, quantity, or choice of menu.

We enjoy an excellent reputation with discerning local visitors and residents alike, for imaginative, creative, Scottish cuisine, featuring a fine range of fresh local produce in season, and vegetarian dishes and healthy food options. We are very versatile too. Dine in some style, in our refurbished dining room, with the log fire blazing or relax and enjoy a ‘bar meal’ in our lodge bar.

Our bar, lounge and restaurant are always open to non residents, offering a superb range of culinary delights from full Scottish breakfasts through light lunches to informal dinners. For hotel guests, early breakfasts are available by arrangement. If you have any Gluten free requests, dietary requirements or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff. We cannot guarantee that any of our dishes do not contain nuts.

“What a gastronomic delight!”

Just a quick email to thank you for a wonderful meal last night – what a gastronomic delight! It was good to talk and thanks for the suggestions on walks etc. The castle was good fun, although locked at this time of year, but at least the rain held up. We tried to get to the ruined village behind the station but the forestry works mean that you get half way up the track and then not allowed any further. Its a shame they could not have put a sign on the gate at the start of the path to warn people. The road up to the monument is still fine and we got good views before the weather closed in. We headed back via Glen Orchy which was a beautiful drive – reminded us of Glen Lyon.

We hope to be back again in your neck of the woods in the not too distant future. Good luck with your hotel venture.

“Wonderful home cooking”

I stayed in a neighbouring guest house for 4 nights this month, and my landlady recommended dinner at the Glenorchy Lodge. I was pleasantly surprised by the range of dishes on the menu – a cut above your average ‘pub grub’ choices! I was even more impressed by the quality of the food when it arrived. it had clearly been prepared by a highly-trained chef, with a creative flair, who was passionate about her art. Needless to say, I returned each subsequent night to sample more of what was on offer, and every mouthful was an absolute pleasure. The friendliness of the owners and staff was the icing on the cake. A rare gem indeed in this locality!
